Flange Fitting for pumping and expressing

Try before you buy. Get the most out of pumping from the beginning with a personalised flange fitting using the Flange FITS™ Guide.

Every breast and nipple is different! Just like shoes, one size rarely fits all - lets find the best fit for you.

Recent practice development and studies have shown better breast pump flange fit can greatly improve comfort, see milk flow sooner, and can increase total milk volume collected.

A flange fitting consultation can be carried out with:

  • A manual, wearable, hands-free, single-user, or multi-user (sometimes referred to as ‘hospital-grade’) pump.

  • A pump you already have, or I can bring a pump to use during the appointment.

A flange fitting involves:

  • Measuring the end of each nipple to give a flange size estimate. I currently have sizes ranging from 9mm - 32mm.

  • Trying a variety of flange sizes, flange shapes, and flange material to find which are the most comfortable.

  • Comparing the most comfortable flanges to determine which is the most effective.
